First off, I'd just like to apologize for not writing for a whole week! I've been working on a top secret blog post for you guys, which should be up sometime next week (if I don't get lazy).
Now, for the main event. Back in March, my sister and I pre-ordered some adorable hats from Charlavail's shop on BigCartel. Since we have been waiting for them for so long, I almost forgot about them. But not for long. When a little package arrived at my door, I knew that there could be only one thing inside! Chloe and I literally ran around the house screaming until my hands weren't shaking so badly and I could manage to tear open the package.
When I ordered these, I didn't really know what to expect. They looked really heavy on the website, so I wasn't sure if I would be able to wear it in the summer. While it's still a knit hat, it's a lot lighter than I expected it to be! I am absolutely in love.
One of my favorite things about these hats (other than their obvious adorableness) is the tags. Charlavail (the artist) always puts an immense amount of effort into the little details of all her work, and I love it. She made all of these tags herself, and even has a different tag for whichever hat you ordered. I think this is so cute, and so Charlavail! Everything she makes she puts her stamp on (literally), which I really admire.
